Weekend/Week/Weekend Recap

Bella And The City

Holy heck, it is Monday again!  Time is just flying by y'all and I know I have got to catch ya up.  The weekend before this last one was full of errands, family BBQ and Eric Church in San Diego.

It was busy, but Eric Church Sunday night and having Monday night off made it worth it.  I went with a friend/ acquaintance and it was so much fun to go with someone who had never seen him previously and t see how much seeing Eric Church is life changing.  I know it sounds ridiculous, but until you see him live you just won't ever understand.

Of course prior to the concert we headed out for a few beers and some playoffs football.  I know it's been a week, but I REALLY don't want to discuss the Green Bay game because ti depresses me.  Like a lot and I am not even a Green Bay fan.  I am however, a Pats fan and I don't want to discuss "deflate gate".  The whole thing is bizarre to me.  I just don't understand it.

The rest of my week went by productively, with exception to this stupid lower back tweak thing I have had going on since Christmas time.  I am finally breaking down and requesting a doctor's appointment today, because it is that bad and there is literally no comfort to be had.  The week carried out two gorgeous sunsets.

This previous weekend found me out the door of the office at 2 pm to head to LA to see Eric Church AGAIN!  This time around I went with my mama and sister.  We stayed across the street from the LA Live/ Staples center so we walked and it was awesome.  We were able to grab dinner and a few drinks before heading over to will call to pick up our tickets.  LA had Halestorm and Dwight Yokam open up for EC.  They both were great, but of course I heart Dwight and Eric, so naturally they were the best part of the show to me.

Happy Monday!

It's Finally Friday!

It is Friday and I do believe that I have had that title up there before and I really don't care.  It is hard to pick out a title for every single post that is catchy and original.

I am so happy it is Friday.  This week and this month have been crazy thus far and I am really looking forward to the weekend.  Which means no more manual labor as soon as I walk into the office because I Won't be back in the office until Tuesday morning.  Woot woot!

I have big plans/ goals for my weekend.  No really, I do.  Even if one of them is going to bed early tonight to catch up on sleep.

Tonight is all about catching up on sleep after organizing some furniture, books, cds, and movies.  I have been in my house since the end of July and I still have shit in boxes.  It is time to put that away.

Saturday is full of errands and cleaning and having my family and neighbors over for dinner.  I am looking forward to it, but maybe I should have had a menu planned prior to inviting people over?  Hmm... Hoping Pinterest has a good idea of what I can make 10 people that is delicious, quick and easy.

Sunday I am headed to San Diego to see Eric Church!  I am so excited!!!!!  This of course is one of two shows of Eric's I will be attending this week.  I cannot wait to get my redneck on.

Friday Surprise!

It is Friday and it is a very good Friday indeed.

Tomorrow I am headed to Cananada (intentionally spelled wrong, jeez) and I have been fortunate enough to have some very special and lovely ladies help me out while I am gone, so please be nice to my guests!

Earlier this week I had mentioned a special "surprise" for Friday and it may ring familiar with some of my lovelies!  Last year I wrote November- Time For Facial Pubes in honor of No Shave November, Movember or whatever else people call the month of facial beasts to raise awareness for prostate cancer.  This year I am taking Friday's to celebrate the greatest facial hair I have witnessed and I have witnessed a lot.

This week is Tom Selleck and all of his mustached glory.

Seriously, why aren't staches groomed like this anymore?!?!

Stay tuned for next week's Facial Beast.

Enjoy your weekend!

March Madness (and I don't mean Bball!)

Good Morning Sunshines!

Well it is Monday... The very last Monday of March!  I don't know about y'all but it flew right by for me, which I think is a good thing, but I am still pissed that no snow came our way.

On to my weekend link up with the beauties Bella and Lisa!

My weekend ended up being a great weekend, seemed busy, but actually it was the perfect mix of busy and relaxation.  There was lots of girl time, which I didn't realize I really needed.  It is amazing what great friends can do for this girl's spirits.

Friday night I had an unexpected rendezvous with Candice and Kristal, we missed Amanda but it was great to catch up over some bud lights and appetizers.  Even if there was a supposed earthquake (that none of us felt... Just saying) we caught up, laughed and had a great time.

Saturday ended up being  quite the busy day for me and I am amazed I made it through with the 4 hours of sleep  I obtained the night before.  I finally got back to my lovely nail lady!  I missed her and it was fabulous to catch up and get all relaxed and refreshed.  I went on to pick up my travel size items for my trip next week!   When I got home I kicked back with some hard cider and admired my "princess sparkles" nails.

I finished off my Saturday in a rum kinda way.  We did a dinner at Jenn's house and polished off quite a bit of rum!!!!  I was surprised there was no hangover for me.  And look at these cute mason jar mugs, tots adorbs!  And don't mind the messes or the fact that we drank a shit ton of rum!

Sunday turned into a cleaning kind of day.  I shed four bags of clothing and about 25 pairs of shoes and headed to the good will.  The sad thing is that I still have way more shoes and clothing items than necessary.  Oh well, the Goodwill will bring me good karma.

Was your weekend more exciting than mine?

New Week- New Laptop

Hello lovlies, it is a new Monday which means it is a new week.

Who was excited for "Once Upon A Time" to return?  And who remembers "Walsh" from that CW show "Popular" from about 15 years agO?

My weekend was chock full of a birthday party for the munchkins and laptop shopping.

Friday I was able to pick up my Maven box and I loved all of my colors!!!    I created this look.

Saturday I played balloon keeper and was on the hunt to pick up and keep the balloons separated and untangled.  All the effort was for Mattie and Kayleigh's birthday party which was a nice day to spend an afternoon with family and friends and tons of little kids running all about.  I love my niece and  nephew and I feel so blessed to see them practically daily.

Yes I finally decided it was time for an upgrade on my computer Sunday.  My Mac is 10 years old this fall and my loving aunt purchased it for my graduation gift.  I don't have the heart to get rid of it, but I really needed an upgrade.  I hit the jackpot at Best Buy with an HP laptop for $350.  I am stoked, but it will take a little getting used to.

After that (and this is gross) I came home, sat down on the couch to curl up only to notice that my second toenail on my left foot had broken WAY too far down for normal.  After removing the nail polish on all of my other toes I noticed that whatever polish concoction was used on my nails had eaten away at my nails.  I don't know if I should be terrified, grossed out or just lucky to find this out.  I am pretty much a combination of all three.

Oh and this happened so Canada better watch out!

Have a great day y'all!!!!
