Over time I have started some books and have never finished them, others I have read and re read over and over again. I also am not prejudiced to how I read them- my Kindle will suffice if I have to have it NOW, other times I love having a paperback to fold pages and wear in for the next reader. I am not afraid of thrift store books either, unless it's the 50 Shades of Grey series because I have heard some down right nasty science on what lingers inside... GAG!
I am an equal opportunity reader, but I won't lie.... I love, love, love smut novels. I can't help it. I mean what is better? Maybe it's a woman's form of pornography? Curiosity on how authors view the clutches of passion? Who knows, but time and again I come back for more. Smut novels are the lover you cannot take and introduce to the world unless you don't care, then you blog about them, as I am currently doing.
I have compiled a list of books I currently have in my to read stack/que-
Medieval Mistletoe Magic (boxed set)- I haven't read many "medieval" setting books. I lean more towards "Regal" era settings, but I am pretty darn sure this won't disappoint. I have to admit that I am a, a sucker for Amazon's boxed sets, especially when they are on sale for 99 cents for Prime customers.
Heating It Up (boxed series)- This series is a span across all sorts of eras. There is regal, medieval, Civil War, western, and a couple others. I clearly had to add it to my list so I wouldn't forget that I must read it.
Adultery: A Novel- In the last few years, Paulo Coelho has made a name for himself, especially with quotes and that is how I stumbled upon this novel. I have actually started reading it and I am excited to see if Paulo is worth all the buzz around him.
Queens of Montana series- I am not quite sure how many books there are in the series, but I know there are at least 4 and I have all listed on my to read list. Western setting of Montana.... Be-still my heart!
I do have some other books on my list, but they are not as titillating as these. I mean who wants to hear about me wanting to read all about the Earp brothers and the shootout at the OK Corral or about the biographies I want to read.
What do you read?
