30 Things

30... I could NOT wait to be 30 and in the blink of an eye, the year flew by and I am officially 31.  Here's a few things from 30-

Life moves faster the older you get.

Be assertive and stand your ground when you know you're right. This doesn't mean you don't have to listen to the other side, but hold true to who you are and your beliefs.

Friendships grow stronger and some end, both are ok.

Travel- it's keeps you from becoming stagnant.

Go out, have that glass of wine.

Invest in yourself- education, hobbies, pedicures.

Walk away when something isn't right.

Stop and take in the beauty of the world.

It's ok to take a break.

Plans change.

Laugh and laugh a lot.

Your body will treat you and well as you treat it. Work out, go walks, stay moving.

Your life won't turn out exactly as you planned, doesn't matter. Enjoy it.

Read a book, even if it takes all year long.

Be unapologetically beautiful in who you are.

Happy 1st Birthday to Kristie's Blue Jeans!

It's here! I have made it to one full year of blogging and you know what? I love it as much as I did when I started a year ago.  Actually, I think I am more in love with blogging than ever!  (yes I have a fickle heart that falls in love with everything)  So much has changed and happened in the past year and you all had a front row seat!

I had a pretty rocky beginning but who doesn't? This little space of my very own has allowed me to be me, whether I am being sarcastic or crying my eyes out. My inner most thoughts are here and I want to thank everyone who has read my heart and soul, even the tiniest portions of it.

As a matter of fact, I am hosting my very first guest blog over at Dateless in Dallas on my one year anniversary of amazing blogness!

As a token of my appreciation, I would like to share my top three most prized posts (my favorites and a few of my most viewed) from the past year.

The Husband Fluffer

Truth In A Mountain Home

21st Birthday Link Up

And of course some of my favorite pictures from the last year (because I know secretly y'all love my photos... Or maybe just I do!
 There was some "Kapernick-ing"...

 Some cowboy boot wearin' days...

There was a little orb that followed me around and made itself known a couple of times...

There was the time I tried to be an "OOTD" blogger.. It didn't last long.

 There were some roadtrips...

A few BIG trips...

 A birthday to pass...

 A full moon rising...

There were millions of motorcycles and bikers...

 Some sister time at concerts...

 A pinch of Will Hoge...

And of course a cheery holiday season.

Like I said, a lot has happened, heartbreak, tears, laughs and smiles and you got a front row seat.  I hope you've enjoyed my year blogging as much as I have had.

Can't wait to start year two!
